St. Michaels Hospice Charity Riding Club

As a group we started out raising funds for St Michaels Hospice with the aid of Yan at Normanhurst Estate through the charity ride. This has been running for about 4 years with fantastic support from both volunters and participants.

It was thought that with the loss of Riding Club activity in the area we could set up one which raised funds solely for a local charity. Since we already had the ride it lead nicely onto the idea of incorporating a club with activities to suit all ages and levels of riding. If there is enough interest it is the intention to affiliate to the BHS allowing members to follow other pursuits.

The club would operate as any other Riding Club but instead of the funds sitting in a Bank Account, any funds raised would be for a worthwhile cause. It is still our intention to make available training, competitions fun days and the like. With your support we can make a success and every member will know that any money they contribute will be going to the hospice.
